Summary of key points

1. What information do we collect?

Personal information you disclose to us

In short: we collect personal information that you provide to us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us. The personal information we collect may include:

Sensitive information. We do not process sensitive information.

Payment data. All payment data is handled and stored by Google Play and the Apple App Store. You may find their privacy notices here: policies.google.com/privacy and apple.com/legal/privacy.

All payments are processed by the store from which you obtained the app (Google Play or the Apple App Store). We never receive or store your payment card details. From the store we receive only the purchase receipt (Google Play purchase token or Apple signed transaction identifier), the product identifier and the subscription status, which we use to activate and verify your Pro subscription.

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

Information automatically collected

In short: some information — such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address — is collected automatically when you use our Services.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include usage information such as your IP address, operating system, language preferences, and information about how and when you use our Services. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services.

The information we collect includes log and usage data: service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect when you access or use our Services and which we record in log files. In short: we only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason to do so.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR require us to explain the valid legal bases we rely on. We may rely on the following:

If you are located in Türkiye, the corresponding legal grounds under Article 5 of the KVKK are explained in the Turkish information notice at campaignapp.tech/kvkk/.

In short: we may share information in the specific situations described in this section and/or with the following third parties.

We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers or contractors ('third parties') who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. We have contracts in place with our third parties, which are designed to help safeguard your personal information. This means that they cannot do anything with your personal information unless we have instructed them to do it, and they will not share your personal information with any organisation apart from us.

6. Is your information transferred internationally?

In short: we may transfer, store, and process your information in countries other than your own.

Our servers are located in South Korea. Regardless of your location, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored by, and processed by us and by the third parties with whom we share your personal information, including facilities in South Korea, the United States, China, and other countries.

If you are a resident in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland, then these countries may not necessarily have data protection laws as comprehensive as those in your country. However, we will take all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable law.

European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We have implemented measures to protect your personal information, including by using the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal information between us and our third-party providers. These clauses require all recipients to protect personal information originating from the EEA or UK in accordance with European data protection laws. Our Standard Contractual Clauses can be provided upon request.

For users in Türkiye, the grounds and safeguards for cross-border transfers under Article 9 of the KVKK are explained in the Turkish information notice at campaignapp.tech/kvkk/.

7. How long do we keep your information?

In short: we keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice unless otherwise required by law.

No purpose in this notice will require us to keep your personal information for longer than the period of time in which you have an account with us, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because it has been stored in backup archives), we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

8. How do we keep your information safe?

In short: we aim to protect your personal information through a system of organisational and technical security measures.

Data is encrypted in transit with TLS, passwords are stored as irreversible hashes, and row-level security rules are applied on the server so that each user can access only their own records. Payment details never enter our systems. However, despite our safeguards, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk.

9. Do we collect information from minors?

In short: we do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age, nor do we knowingly sell such personal information. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent's use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from children under age 18, please contact us at destek@campaignapp.tech.

10. What are your privacy rights?

In short: in some regions, such as the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, you have rights that allow you greater access to and control over your personal information. You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time.

In some regions you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right (i) to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, (ii) to request rectification or erasure, (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information, (iv) if applicable, to data portability, and (v) not to be subject to automated decision-making. In certain circumstances, you may also have the right to object to the processing of your personal information. You can make such a request by contacting us using the details in section 16 below.

If you are located in Switzerland, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. If you are located in Türkiye, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board (KVKK) after applying to us first, as explained at campaignapp.tech/kvkk-basvuru/.

Withdrawing your consent. If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. This will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal, nor the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

Account information

If you would at any time like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can:

Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our legal terms and/or comply with applicable legal requirements.

11. Controls for do-not-track features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ('DNT') feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

12. Data that stays on your device

Some of the information you create in the app never leaves your device and is never sent to our servers: the sources you follow, the campaigns you bookmark, the campaigns you mark as used together with the gains you enter, your monthly target, your theme and language preferences, your reminder settings, the summary shown by the home screen widget, and the offline cache. This information is kept in the app's private storage on your device and is deleted when you delete the app.

13. No advertising, analytics or tracking technologies

We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash reporting SDKs or any other tracking technology in the app or on the website. We do not collect the advertising identifier (AD_ID or IDFA), we do not build behavioural profiles, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising purposes. Reminders are generated locally on your device, so we do not collect push notification tokens. The website is a static site that sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts or fonts. See also our Cookie Policy.
